Quality Score and Google Analytics

This week we learned about the Quality Score of keywords in a campaign in Google and about Google Analytics.

The Quality Score is composed by three main elements: The CTR, the relevance, and the landing page of an ad. Of these three, CTR is estimated to be about 60% of the Quality Score. This score basically shows how good is your keyword for your ad. According to what we learned this week, Quality Score is a factor used to determine the price we pay for advertising with Google. Better keywords and ads pay less with every click. The CTR is a factor that reflects how many times your ad is clicked divided by the number of times it is shown. It is crucial to have good ads and good keywords.

Google Analytics is a great way to understand how people behave while they're on our websites. There is a lot of information shown there, like the devices they used, the hours of the day they use to visit the website, where are they from, etc. Since I'm using Wix.com as my website provider it was really easy to add Google Analytics there. I just had to select marketing options and then provide the code that Google Analytics gave me and it was ready.  I'm happy with Wix.com as my provider.
